Get around Wrenford
You can use Wrenford Transit to get to work, school, shopping, and community events. Our network covers the city centre, neighbourhoods, and key destinations. All buses are wheelchair accessible and feature kneeling features for easier boarding. We also provide real-time arrival updates at major stops so you know exactly when your bus is coming.
Plan your trip
Use the trip planner on our website to find the best route. You can also pick up a printed schedule at the Downtown Transit Terminal or at major stops. Download the Wrenford Transit mobile app to track buses in real time and buy digital tickets. If you need help planning a trip, staff at the terminal can walk you through the options.
Routes and hours
Wrenford Transit runs 14 fixed routes across the city. Route numbers 1 through 14 serve residential areas, the downtown core, hospitals, colleges, and retail hubs. Weekday service runs from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Weekend service starts at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m.
- School specials (20-series) run during the academic year to connect neighbourhoods with schools.
- Wrenford Access provides door-to-door service for residents who cannot use the fixed routes due to a disability or temporary mobility issue. You must book these trips at least 24 hours ahead.
Fares and passes
Pay with cash, a transit card, or a mobile ticket. Single trip fares are $3.00 for adults, $2.25 for youth and seniors, and free for children under 13 when accompanied by a paying adult. Day passes cost $7.00. Monthly passes are available for $95.00 for adults and $65.00 for youth and seniors. Wrenford Access trips cost the same as a single adult fare when booked in advance.
Bikes and strollers
Fold your bicycle or use a child carrier before boarding. Most buses have space for one unfolded bicycle or one stroller in the designated area. Please store them out of the aisle so other passengers can move freely. Drivers will secure your bike with a strap if you ask.
Ride safely and respectfully
Keep your hands and feet inside the bus while it is moving. Follow the instructions of your driver, and have your fare ready before you board. Eating and drinking are not allowed on the buses to keep the vehicle clean and comfortable for everyone.
Holiday service
Service runs on a reduced timetable on statutory holidays. Check Check holiday facility hours for exact times and any service changes.
