Get ready to make your voice heard at the Youth Civic Engagement Forum. This free event is designed for teens and young adults who want to learn more about how local government works and how you can take part in the 2026 Municipal Election Candidate Forum on October 26.
City staff will walk you through the basics of voting, explain what your local councillors and the mayor do, and share simple ways to get involved in your neighbourhood. You will also have a chance to ask questions and meet the people running for office. Whether you are casting your first ballot or just curious about how decisions are made, this forum is for you.
The forum takes place at the Old Mill Community Centre in the Old Mill neighbourhood. The building has an accessible entrance, washrooms on site, and free parking in the lot. No registration is needed—just show up. We will provide light refreshments, and Wi-Fi is available if you need to connect your device.
If you have mobility needs or require other accommodations to attend, please contact Community Services at 519-555-0100 or email [email protected]. We want everyone to feel welcome and able to participate.
Bring a friend, grab a snack, and come prepared with your questions. Your future in Wrenford starts with showing up.
