Get ready to explore the season's first blooms on a guided nature walk through the Southview Heritage Garden. Led by a trained naturalist, you will learn to identify common spring wildflowers, understand their role in the local ecosystem, and discover tips for growing your own native plants.

This free event is open to all ages. Families with young children are welcome, though we recommend bringing a small chair or blanket for little ones. The garden features raised beds, paved pathways, and an herb garden, making it easy to follow along.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Water bottles are recommended. If you have a camera, feel free to bring it to capture your favourite finds.

Registration is required due to limited space. Please sign up online by April 10, 2027. Walk-ups will be accepted only if space allows.

The Southview Heritage Garden is fully accessible. Paved pathways connect all garden sections, and accessible washrooms are located just outside the garden entrance. For more information about our community spaces and events, visit our Community page or browse Parks & Trails.
