Get ready to grow in 2027! The Community Garden Spring Planning Workshop is your chance to map out your garden plots before the first seeds go in the ground. Whether you have a green thumb or just want to learn, this free workshop is for you. We will walk through plot layout, soil preparation, and what to plant this season. We will also hand out a seasonal planting calendar and share tips on water conservation and composting.
This session is designed for adults and seniors who want to plan their spring gardens. We will cover crop rotation, companion planting, and how to work with raised beds. Bring your own seeds, gloves, and a notebook. Light refreshments will be provided. If you need accessible seating or translation help, please let us know when you register.
Registration is required so we can prepare enough materials for everyone. Programs page or call 519-555-0100 to book your spot. Spaces are limited, so register early. We look forward to seeing you at the garden!
