The Ambrel Lake Community Garden gives you a place to grow vegetables, herbs and flowers right by the water. This community garden is located in the Ambrel Lake neighbourhood and offers a peaceful setting with lake views from the plots.
The garden is open dawn to dusk, seven days a week. You will find a garden shed for tool storage, a seating area to rest and signage with garden rules on site. This facility is bookable, meaning you can reserve a plot online. Visit Garden plot registration to learn about registration dates, fees and how to apply for a space.
If you need help with your application or have questions about the garden, contact the Parks & Trails team at 519-555-0140 or [email protected]. The garden is close to Ambrel Lake Park, where you can also access the boardwalk and picnic shelter.
Remember to follow the community garden guidelines, keep your plot weeded and watered, and respect your neighbours. Bring your own tools and water, and return all shared equipment to the shed when you are done.
