What you can do with our data

The City of Wrenford shares public information so you can use it for research, planning, or building new tools. Our Open Data Catalogue gives you free access to city data and maps. You can download files, view charts, or create your own maps. This helps make our government more open and easy to understand. We currently host over 850 datasets covering everything from transit schedules and road maintenance to park locations and building permits.

How to access the data

Visit the Wrenford Open Data Portal to browse all published datasets. The portal is free to use. You do not need to create an account to view or download files. If you want to save custom maps, set up automatic updates, or track data changes, you can register for a free account. All data is available under an open license that allows you to share and adapt it for personal or commercial projects, as long as you credit the City of Wrenford.

Rules and data quality

We publish data on a set schedule. Some datasets update daily, while others are updated monthly or annually. You will see a "Last Updated" date on each dataset page. If a dataset looks outdated or has an error, please let us know. Our data team reviews every report and fixes mistakes as quickly as possible. We aim to keep all core datasets current to support accurate planning and analysis.

We follow the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). Any personal information is removed before data is published. By using the Open Data Catalogue, you agree to our terms of use. The City provides data "as is" and does not guarantee it will meet every specific need. Please check the source files if you need precise measurements for legal or engineering work.
