Register for swim lessons
Take a dip in our community pools with our seasonal swimming lesson programs. These classes are designed for all ages and skill levels, from infants to adults. You can enrol yourself or your child by using the online booking page or by visiting the Recreation Services office in person.
Who can enrol
Wrenford residents and non-residents are welcome to join. If you live in Wrenford, you may be eligible for a resident discount. You will need to provide proof of residency when you register, such as a utility bill or driver’s licence showing your N4Q postal code. If you are a non-resident, the standard fee applies.
What you need
Before you start, make sure you have the following ready:
- A valid photo identification document.
- Proof of residency if you are a Wrenford resident.
- A credit or debit card for payment if you are registering online.
- A swimsuit, towel, and goggles for your child.
Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult in the water for the first lesson. After that, they may participate independently if their instructor agrees. Please ensure your child has used the washroom before class begins.
How to register
The easiest way to sign up is through the online booking page. You can create an account, select your preferred class time, and pay securely. Classes fill up quickly, so we recommend registering as soon as the season opens. If you prefer to register in person, visit the Recreation Services office during business hours. Bring your identification and payment method. The staff can help you find a class that fits your schedule.
You can also call the main line at 519-555-0100 for assistance. If you have a specific question about accessibility or special needs, you can dial Wrenford 311 for support.
Important dates
Registration for the upcoming season opens on October 30, 2026. Classes typically run from November through March. Check the booking page for the exact start dates of each session. Late registrations are accepted if space is available, but fees may be higher.
Refunds and changes
If you need to cancel or change your class, please do so at least 48 hours before the first session. Refunds are processed according to the city’s refund policy. Contact the Recreation Services office to discuss your options. You can email the department at [email protected] for written inquiries.
Remember to arrive 10 minutes early for your first class. This gives you time to pick up a waiver form and get oriented. We look forward to seeing you in the pool.
