Book an ice time slot
Ready to glide across the ice? Whether you are looking for a casual family skate or need dedicated time for a hockey practice, the City of Wrenford makes it easy to secure your spot. You can reserve ice time for public skating or private practice sessions at any of our community arenas. This service is managed through the Parks & Trails division to ensure fair access for all residents.
How to reserve your session
To book your ice time, you must use the official booking page. This online tool allows you to view available slots in real time and select the specific date and duration that works best for your group. You cannot reserve ice time by walking into the arena without a prior booking, except for walk-in public skating where space permits. For structured practices or reserved slots, the booking page is your only option.
When you access the booking page, you will see a calendar view of all available ice sessions. Select the arena location, choose your desired date, and pick the time slot. You will then need to create an account or log in if you already have one. Ensure all details are correct before confirming your reservation. Once confirmed, you will receive a digital receipt via email. Please keep this confirmation handy, as you may be asked to show it upon arrival.
What you need to book
Before you begin, make sure you have the following information ready:
- A valid email address for confirmation and updates.
- Payment method details. All bookings require immediate payment via the secure portal. We accept major credit cards and debit cards.
- Group size information. Be accurate about the number of participants, especially for practice sessions, as this affects ice preparation and staffing.
- Specific requirements. If you need special equipment or have accessibility needs, note them in the comments section of the booking form, but do not expect immediate confirmation of special arrangements through this automated system.
Important rules and fees
Ice time is a shared resource. Please respect the schedules of other users. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a fine under city by-law. If you need to cancel, do so at least twenty-four hours in advance through the booking page to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than twenty-four hours before the slot will not be refunded.
Fees vary depending on the type of booking, the time of day, and the duration. Public skating sessions are priced per person or per group, while practice sessions are charged per hour. Check the fee schedule on the booking page for the most current rates. Prices are subject to change without notice.
