Kingfisher community centre rental
You can rent the Kingfisher community centre for meetings, parties, and local events. The centre is located in the Kingfisher neighbourhood. It is a single-level building with plenty of parking. The main hall seats up to 100 people. You must book early because the schedule fills up fast.
2019 Rates
Use these rates for all bookings made in 2019. Prices are for residents of Wrenford. Non-residents pay 25% more.
- Resident: $150 per day
- Non-resident: $187.50 per day
- Half-day (morning or afternoon): $90 per day
A security deposit of $100 is required for all events. You get this deposit back if you leave the space clean and undamaged. Pay the deposit when you submit your application.
Booking Information
You must use the Facility rental application form. Submit it at least two weeks before your event. If you need to change or cancel your booking, use the Booking amendment or cancellation page. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are non-refundable.
Insurance
You must have liability insurance. The City requires a minimum of $2 million. Provide a certificate of insurance at least five business days before your event. See Facility rental insurance requirements for details.
Features
The centre has a full kitchen, washrooms, and heating. There are no stairs, so it is accessible. Check Accessibility features at facilities for more info. The kitchen is basic. You must bring your own dishes or rent them from a local vendor. You must clean the kitchen after your event.
Hours
The centre is open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. You can book any time slot within these hours. See Facility information and hours for the full schedule.
Fee Assistance
If you are a community group or non-profit, you may qualify for a discount. Apply for Fee assistance for leisure centres before you book. You must show proof of your status.
