Eastfield Community Centre Rental
You can book the Eastfield Community Centre for meetings, social gatherings, and local club activities. This facility is located in the Eastfield neighbourhood and offers accessible washrooms and kitchenette facilities. Before you submit a booking, please review the Facility information and hours to ensure the space meets your needs.
2020 Booking Fees
The following rates apply to all reservations made for events occurring between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020. All fees are in Canadian dollars and are subject to the applicable provincial and federal taxes.
- City Residents: $45.00 per hour
- Non-Residents: $75.00 per hour
- Non-Profit Organizations (City Registered): $30.00 per hour
If you require a half-day rental (up to four hours), the cost is $150.00 for residents and $250.00 for non-residents. Full-day rentals (eight hours) are available for $250.00 for residents and $400.00 for non-residents. Please note that these rates do not include the cost of extra cleaning or equipment setup.
Application Process
To secure a date, you must complete the Facility rental application form. Applications must be submitted at least fourteen days prior to the desired event date. Late applications may be accepted if the facility is available, but no guarantee will be provided. You can submit your application by mail, in person at City Hall, or by email to [email protected].
Insurance Requirements
All renters must provide proof of liability insurance. The City requires a minimum coverage of $2,000,000. You can find detailed guidelines in the Facility rental insurance requirements document. If you do not have existing coverage, you may purchase a single-event policy through the City’s insurance partner. Please allow five business days for the City to verify your insurance certificate.
Payment and Cancellations
Payment is due at the time of booking. We accept credit cards, debit, or cash. If you need to change or cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than seven days before the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations within seven days will incur a $25.00 administrative fee.
