About the venue
Fallsview Arts Centre is the City's primary performing arts space. The 420-seat theatre offers a proscenium stage, a raised orchestra pit, and a fully equipped lighting grid. The venue also includes a studio space for smaller rehearsals, workshops, and auditions. Whether you are producing a community play, a dance recital, or a private celebration, you can reserve the theatre through the box office.
How to book
Start by checking the venue calendar online or calling the box office to confirm availability. Cultural Services will review your proposal and provide a rental application. All bookings require proof of liability insurance and a signed facility use agreement. You must submit your application at least 30 days before your desired date. For large-scale productions, please contact Cultural Services directly to discuss technical needs and load-in times.
Booking rules and requirements
- Applicants must hold a minimum of $2,000,000 in general liability insurance.
- A refundable $300.00 cleaning deposit is required for every booking.
- Load-in and load-out times are assigned by the stage manager and must be respected to avoid scheduling conflicts.
- Alcohol is permitted only with a valid liquor licence and compliance with provincial regulations.
- All technical changes to the stage or lighting grid must be approved by the facility engineer.

Accessibility and amenities
The venue is fully accessible under the AODA. The main theatre features wheelchair seating on the main floor, an elevator to the balcony, and accessible washrooms on every level. Assistive listening devices are available at the box office. The building also includes a professional kitchen, green rooms, and public washrooms.
