Report a building and energy data issue
The City of Wrenford tracks energy use and efficiency across our community. This data helps us plan for a greener future, reduce emissions, and target building upgrades. If you own a property in Wrenford and notice the building data is missing, incorrect, or outdated, you can report it. Updating the registry ensures the City has accurate information to make the right decisions.
What you can report
You can submit a report if any of the following details on a Wrenford property are wrong or missing:
- Energy consumption or usage figures
- Building size, age, or square footage
- Insulation type or heating system details
- Primary energy source (for example, natural gas listed when the building uses electricity)
- Number of units or commercial space breakdown
- Missing energy audit results or efficiency upgrades
How to submit a report
There are three ways to report an issue. All submissions are free.
- Online: Visit the City's 311 service portal and select the "Building and Energy Data" option. Fill out the form with the property address and the specific data points that need correction.
- Email: Send your details to [email protected]. Include the full property address, your name, and a clear description of the data that needs updating.
- Mail: Write to Planning & Development, P.O. Box 5678, Station Main, Wrenford, ON N4Q 1A1.
What happens next
Once you submit a report, a staff member in the Planning and Development department will review it within 10 business days. They may contact you by phone or email to verify the information or request supporting documents, such as a recent energy audit, utility bill, or building permit. After the details are verified, the City will update the official registry. You will receive a confirmation email once the change is complete.
