Wrenford property tax payment deadline set for November 2

Residents who are paying their 2026 property tax through the Tax Instalment Payment Plan (TIPP) must make their final payment by Monday, November 2. The City also reminds all property owners that this date marks the end of the quarterly payment window for the current tax year.

Wrenford's property tax system is split into four equal payments. The first two interim bills were due in February and April, and the final two bills were due in June and September. If you chose to pay in four equal instalments throughout the year, November 2 is your final deadline. Paying on time ensures your account stays current and avoids any penalties or interest.

"Setting a clear deadline helps us keep the books balanced so we can keep funding the services you rely on every day," says Leah Thibodeau, GM Corporate Services and City Treasurer. "Whether you pay by the deadline or set up a pre-authorized payment plan for next year, the City wants to make sure every resident has a straightforward path to staying up to date."

Residents who have not yet enrolled in a payment plan for the 2027 tax year can do so before the November 2 deadline. Pre-authorized payments let the City withdraw your instalment automatically on the due date, so you never have to worry about missing a payment. You can sign up online through the Service Wrenford portal, visit the Service Wrenford counter at Wrenford City Hall, or call the Revenue and Water Billing team at 519-555-0100.

If you need a payment receipt or have questions about your account balance, you can view your statement online or request a copy by mail. The City also offers a pre-authorized monthly payment option for residents who prefer to spread their tax bill across twelve months rather than four.

Property taxes fund the day-to-day operations that keep Wrenford running, from road maintenance and garbage collection to fire and paramedic services, public transit, and community programs. You can see exactly how your tax dollars are spent by reviewing the Budget or reading the current annual budget.
