WRENFORD, ON — May 6, 2026 — Wrenford’s annual winter celebration is back. The City of Wrenford, through its Economic Development team, today announced the dates and entertainment lineup for the upcoming Wrenford Ice Days festival. The event will take place during Family Day weekend, February, at Riverside Flats Park.
The weekend-long festival features ice carving competitions, live performances from local and regional headliners, and family-friendly activities. The event supports local merchants and draws visitors from across Southwestern Ontario. Street closures and parking details will be published closer to the date.
“Wrenford Ice Days is a cornerstone of our winter calendar and a major economic driver for our downtown and hospitality sectors,” said City Manager Robert Eng. “We are thrilled to welcome back our community and visitors for another memorable celebration.”
The festival draws thousands of visitors each year, boosting revenue for downtown shops, restaurants, and hotels. Wrenford Transit will run special schedules on both Saturday and Sunday to ensure easy access to Riverside Flats Park. Visitors should plan ahead and review the transit changes before heading out.
Visitors can find the full schedule, vendor application details, and information on how to support local merchants at the Economic Development section. Downtown businesses are encouraged to participate in the Downtown business improvement grants programme to help activate the surrounding area during the festival. If you have questions about the event or want to apply for a vendor booth, visit the Economic Development contact page for application forms and deadlines.
