Wrenford Transit fares for single rides and monthly passes increase on July 1. The changes apply to all riders using our 14 fixed routes and Wrenford Access specialized transit service across the city.
The fare adjustments will help cover rising operational costs, including vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance. The extra revenue also supports our Zero-Emission Fleet Plan, which is replacing older diesel buses with electric and hybrid models, and funds ongoing improvements like the Route 5 and Route 12 stop upgrades.

You can still use the Wrenford Transit app to load digital passes and pay for single rides. Digital payments keep your fare history secure and make boarding faster. If you prefer to pay with cash, you can buy tickets at the Downtown Transit Terminal or from a driver on the bus. We encourage all riders to check the new fare chart above before their next trip. If you qualify for fare assistance, apply through the Low-Income Transit Pass programme or the Wrenford Senior Transit Grant before your current pass expires.

Several affordability programmes remain in place. The Low-Income Transit Pass programme continues to offer a subsidized monthly fare for eligible residents. The Wrenford Senior Transit Grant also provides discounted monthly fares for older riders.
