Northgate Branch Library parking lot resurfacing 2026

The City of Wrenford will resurface the parking lot at the Wrenford Public Library — Northgate Branch, located at 900 Northgate Boulevard, starting Monday, September 21, 2026. The project will take approximately three weeks to complete.

Crews from the Roads & Winter Maintenance department will mill the existing asphalt, lay fresh base material, and apply a new top layer. The lot will be closed to vehicles during active paving days, but library patrons can still access the building through the main entrance on Northgate Boulevard. We will provide updated parking instructions and temporary overflow lots nearby so you can still visit the library without hassle. Safety cones and temporary fencing will guide pedestrians away from hot asphalt areas.

"This project ensures the lot remains safe and accessible for everyone who visits the branch," says Samuel Adeyemi, General Manager of Infrastructure and Planning. "We are working closely with the library to minimize any inconvenience during the resurfacing."

Please watch for signs and follow detour routes. If you have questions about the work schedule or need to report a related road issue, contact the Roads & Winter Maintenance team at 519-555-0100 or visit our Roads & Winter Maintenance page for more details.

The work is expected to be completed by the end of October 2026. Thank you for your patience while we improve this community space.
