The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool at 15 Kingfisher Court will open for the season on Monday, May 25, 2026. Residents can expect warm weather and plenty of aquatic fun to keep the community cool all summer long.
The pool will operate daily from late June to Labour Day, with hours posted on the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool page. The splash pad will open daily at noon once temperatures reach 25 degrees Celsius.
"Our outdoor pools are a beloved part of the Wrenford summer," says Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. "We have a full lineup of Swimming lessons, adapted programs, and drop-in times for all ages. It is a great place for families to connect and stay active."
Programs running through the season include the Swim for Life series, adapted swim times, and teen leisure hours. Residents can view the full schedule and register online through Programs.
All water amenities are weather dependent. In the event of severe weather or poor water quality, the pool may close temporarily. Updates will be posted on the City's service alerts page and social media channels.
