Harvest on Mercer festival returns September 21, 2026

The annual Harvest on Mercer festival returns to downtown Wrenford on Sunday, September 21. Residents and visitors can explore local vendors, enjoy live music, and take part in hands-on activities along the closed-off streets from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This year's celebration highlights the work of Wrenford's artists, farmers, and small business owners. The festival will feature a market square with over 50 local vendors, a children's craft area, and a main stage showcasing regional musicians throughout the day. Food trucks and pop-up restaurants will offer seasonal dishes, and the Wrenford Public Library will host a storytelling corner for families.

To help keep the streets safe and accessible, all motor vehicle traffic on Mercer Street between Water Street and Fallsview Road will be closed to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on September 21. Wrenford Transit will run special 20-series shuttle buses to pick up and drop off attendees at the Downtown Transit Terminal and nearby parking lots. Free transit is available with a printed event pass or by showing a digital ticket on your phone.

"Harvest on Mercer has grown into one of our favourite community traditions, and it is wonderful to see so many local creators and neighbours coming together to celebrate the season," said Councillor Grace Whitlock, who represents Ward 4. "We hope families take the time to visit the stalls, listen to the music, and enjoy the autumn air in the heart of our city."

Residents who want to support the event can register to become a vendor or volunteer through the Business section or the News & Events page.
