Harvest on Mercer celebrates local agriculture with food festival

The City of Wrenford is proud to announce that Harvest on Mercer returns this September, bringing local food, live music and hands-on crafts to the heart of downtown. The festival will take place on Mercer Street from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

You will find dozens of local farmers, artisans and food vendors setting up along the street. You can enjoy children’s activities, cooking demonstrations and live performances on the main stage. “Harvest on Mercer is a true celebration of our region’s agricultural roots and the hardworking people who grow our food,” said Mayor Danielle Okafor-Price. “We invite you to come out, taste something new and support our local producers.”

To keep the festival safe and accessible for everyone, Mercer Street will be closed to through traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. You are asked to use nearby streets or take Wrenford Transit to the Downtown Transit Terminal. A limited number of accessible parking permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis near Market Square. Please leave your waste at home or use the clearly marked garbage and recycling bins provided along the route.
