The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system at Fallsview Arts Centre has been fully upgraded. The project was completed in July 2026 at the facility located at 50 Fallsview Road.
The building's original system was nearing the end of its life and struggled to keep the theatre and studio spaces comfortable during Wrenford's hot summers and cold winters. The new equipment includes high-efficiency heat pumps, smart climate controls and advanced air filtration. These upgrades will cut energy use by nearly thirty per cent and lower operating costs for the city.
Construction crews worked closely with the Roads & Winter Maintenance team to manage heavy delivery trucks and protect the road surface during the project. Temporary lane closures were kept to a minimum and scheduled during off-peak hours. If you noticed any new cracks or uneven pavement along Fallsview Road from the work, you can report it through the city's online tool.
"This upgrade ensures Fallsview Arts Centre can operate efficiently for years to come while providing a comfortable space for our community," said Samuel Adeyemi, General Manager, Infrastructure and Planning. "We are also investing in better air quality and quieter operation, which directly benefits the performers and the neighbours nearby."
There are no changes to the theatre's operating hours or upcoming show schedules. Residents are welcome to visit the centre to see the new climate control panels and air filtration units in the lobby.
