The next household hazardous waste collection day for Wrenford residents is Saturday, May 16, 2026. You can bring your materials to the drop-off depot at 3500 Concession 4 Road.
The depot is open every Saturday from May through October. On May 16, you can drop off items such as paint, solvents, motor oil, batteries, and cleaning products. Please keep items in their original containers and transport them securely in your vehicle. We cannot accept large quantities of commercial waste.
"We want to make it easy for neighbours to dispose of these materials safely," says Ben Achterberg, Waste Programs Supervisor. "Dropping them off at the depot keeps them out of the regular garbage stream and protects our local soil and water."
You can find more information about accepted materials and preparation guidelines on the Garbage & Recycling page. For questions about the hazardous waste programme, call 519-555-0128 or visit the facility. If you are looking for other ways to get involved in your area, check out the Neighbourhoods section for local events and community groups.
Regular garbage, recycling, and organics collection continues on the usual schedule. For all waste and recycling updates, visit City Services.
