City announces 2026–2027 arena ice season rates

The City of Wrenford is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 arena ice season, which runs from October 2026 to March 2027. The season will cover ice time at Westbrook Community Arena and Eastfield Twin Arenas.

Community groups, sport partners, and the public can now review the updated rental rates and submit booking requests. The City has adjusted the rates to cover rising maintenance and energy costs while keeping ice time affordable for local leagues and programs. Full rate details are available on the Facility rental rates page.

Standard community league rates are set at $85.00 per hour. Minor and youth programs receive a discounted rate of $55.00 per hour. Adult and senior leagues are charged $95.00 per hour. A $100.00 refundable deposit is required for all seasonal bookings to cover any damages or cleaning fees.

"We know ice time is in high demand, so we are keeping the booking process straightforward and the rates fair for community groups," said Fiona Gallagher, GM Community Services. "We encourage groups to plan ahead and submit their requests early to secure their preferred time slots."

Application deadlines are set for August 15, 2026. Completed applications must be emailed to [email protected] or submitted through the online booking portal. Groups must also provide proof of insurance naming the City as additionally insured before a booking is confirmed.
