Ambrel Lake Park parking lot access temporarily closed for repairs

The City of Wrenford will temporarily close the parking lot at Ambrel Lake Park, located at 1350 Ambrel Lake Road, Wrenford, ON N4Q 5D5, for essential pavement repairs starting Tuesday, May 12. You will need to find alternate parking or use public transit if you plan to visit the park during this time. Crews will mill the existing asphalt and resurface the lot over a five-day period.

The lot will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians from May 12 through May 16. Paving work is scheduled to take place on May 15 and 16. All construction will occur during regular daytime hours, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

We know you rely on the park for family outings and daily walks. During the closure, the boardwalk and playground areas will remain open to you. Please use the pedestrian entrance off Ambrel Lake Road to access the park grounds safely.

You are reminded to slow down when driving through the construction zone and to obey all posted signage. Pedestrians should cross streets only at designated crosswalks. Traffic officers and City staff will be on-site to direct vehicles and assist visitors like you entering the area.

Temporary delays may occur as crews work. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we improve this key community space.
