The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that roof repairs at Westbrook Community Arena are complete. You can now return to your regular skating and hockey sessions at the facility on 40 Westbrook Drive, which reopened on Monday, March 10, 2025, after a brief closure for essential structural work.
Over the past few weeks, a team of contractors and City engineers replaced damaged roofing panels and reinforced the support structure. Your ice time and community bookings are back on schedule. All work was finished on time and within the approved budget.
“We know how much you rely on this facility for winter sports and gatherings,” said City Manager Robert Eng. “Getting the roof repaired quickly means you can get back to your regular activities without worrying about leaks or safety concerns.”
The arena is now fully operational. The two ice pads are ready for public skating, drop-in hockey, and scheduled league games. The community hall is also available for booking. If you have an upcoming event or ice time reservation, check the schedule online or call the arena directly.
