The City of Wrenford Parks, Recreation & Culture department is pleased to announce that the Northgate Aquatic Centre reopens for the summer season on Saturday, May 24. Located at 910 Northgate Boulevard, the centre features a 50-metre pool, dive tank, and waterslide.
As the weather warms up, you can enjoy public swims, length swims, aquafit classes, and swimming lessons. The waterslide and dive tank will also be open for use. You can book your spot online or at the front desk.
“The reopening of the Northgate Aquatic Centre is a highlight of the summer for our community,” said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. “We want to thank everyone for their patience and excitement as we prepare to open the pools. This facility is a wonderful place for families to learn, play, and stay active together.”
The aquatic centre will operate on its standard summer schedule, with weekday hours from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and weekend hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can find more information about drop-in swims and aquafit classes on the Drop-in fitness and public swims page, or call 519-555-0121.
