The Main Branch of the Wrenford Public Library is hosting a holiday craft workshop for older adults on December 10, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 150 Mercer Street. The free drop-in session will feature seasonal decorations, paper snowflake making, and festive card crafting to encourage social connection and creative expression.
Good to know
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays.
No registration is required. You are welcome to drop in at any time during the session. All craft materials, glue, scissors, and festive refreshments will be provided. The library's accessible entrance on Water Street offers step-free access, and washrooms are located on the main floor. We encourage you to bring your own favourite scissors if you have a preferred pair, but they are not necessary. You can also park in the downtown lots off Mercer and Water Streets, or take Wrenford Transit to the Downtown Transit Terminal.
"The holiday season is a wonderful time for our community to come together," said Fiona Gallagher, general manager of community services. "We want to make sure our older residents have a welcoming space to enjoy some quiet creativity and catch up with neighbours."
The library also offers adapted programming and gentle fitness classes throughout the year to support healthy aging. Staff are available to help you find activities that match your interests. For more information on library programming, branch hours, or upcoming events, visit the Library page.
