The Kingfisher Outdoor Pool and splash pad open for the 2025 season on Saturday, July 5, weather permitting. Located at 15 Kingfisher Court in the Kingfisher neighbourhood, the aquatic facility welcomes you back for summer swimming and water play.
The seasonal outdoor pool features a main swimming area and a shallow section for younger children. The adjacent splash pad is open daily for kids to cool off. Deck chairs are available for lounging around the pool, and there is a designated outdoor eating area nearby for families.
"Outdoor pools are a highlight of our summer calendar, offering something for everyone from swim lessons to family leisure time," said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services.
The pool will host daily drop-in swims, swim lessons for all ages, and adapted swim times. Operating hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends. Hours may change due to weather or staffing, so check before you go.
