The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool at 15 Kingfisher Court will open its gates for the 2025 season on Monday, May 25. The splash pad will also be available for use once the weather warms up, and the first round of swim lessons begins shortly after.
The outdoor pool offers a full day of supervised swimming for residents of all ages. Families can drop in during open swim hours, or book a lane for a more relaxed swim. The adjacent splash pad is free to use and provides a cool spot for younger children to play on hot afternoons. Lifeguards will be on duty throughout the season, which runs from late June to Labour Day for the main pool, with the splash pad opening as soon as conditions allow. We also encourage families to check the daily schedule online, as drop-in hours may vary on holidays.
"We are looking forward to welcoming families back to Kingfisher," said Caroline Dubé, Recreation Programs Coordinator. "It is always a highlight of the summer to see the community come together for open swim, splash pad play, and our popular swim lessons program."
Residents can register for the full range of summer programs online through Wrenford Recreation Online. Registration for summer day camps, swim lessons, and aquatics classes opens later this spring. If you need help with an account or have questions about class levels, call the recreation desk at 519-555-0125 or visit City Hall.
