Kingfisher Outdoor Pool, located at 15 Kingfisher Court, will close its gates on Tuesday, November 10, 2025, to begin winter storage and maintenance. The closure allows our operations team to drain the basin, clean the filtration system, and prepare the splash pad for next summer.
During the winter months, the outdoor pool and splash pad at Kingfisher Outdoor Pool will be closed. You can still enjoy year-round swimming and fitness classes at our indoor aquatic centres. Visit the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre on Benchlands Drive for lap swimming, fitness classes, and a leisure pool. The Northgate Aquatic Centre in Northgate offers a 50-metre competition pool and a waterslide for all ages.
"Our aquatic team works hard all season to keep our pools safe, clean, and ready for swimmers," says Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. "The winter maintenance period is essential for equipment checks and repairs, so we can reopen Kingfisher Outdoor Pool safely and smoothly in the spring."
Regular indoor hours apply throughout the closure. You can view the full schedule of open facilities and current program listings on the Programs page. If you need help finding the right facility or have questions about registration, contact Wrenford 311 at 519-555-0100 or visit the service counter at Wrenford City Hall.
Keep an eye on the Recreation & Culture section for updates on seasonal program registration and summer opening dates. We look forward to seeing you back at Kingfisher Outdoor Pool when the weather warms up.
