February fitness challenge invites Wrenford residents to stay active

The City of Wrenford invites residents to stay active and build healthy habits this winter through the February Fitness Challenge, running from February 1 to 28, 2025. This community initiative encourages individuals and families to prioritise their well-being through fun activities at City recreation facilities across the city.

Whether you want to swim laps, take a fitness class, or enjoy a drop-in skate, staying active helps keep our community strong and connected. You can pick up a challenge card at any of our recreation centres, including the Tamsin Valley Leisure Centre, Northgate Aquatic Centre, Westbrook Community Arena, Eastfield Twin Arenas, and Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre. Simply collect one stamp for every hour of activity you complete.

“This challenge is a wonderful way to beat the winter blues while meeting new neighbours,” said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. “We encourage everyone to take part, try something new, and have fun moving their bodies.”

Participants who stay active throughout the challenge will be entered into a draw for recreation-themed prizes designed to help you keep up your healthy habits year-round. Prizes may include gift cards for local recreation programs, fitness gear, or free passes to future camps and classes.
