WRENFORD, ON — October 16, 2025 — The City of Wrenford is now accepting booking requests for fall ice time at the Eastfield Arenas. Community sports leagues, practice groups, and recreational skating clubs can reserve ice from October through December for the upcoming season.
The Eastfield Arenas, located at 620 Eastfield Road, features two full-size ice pads that are ready for the fall season. The facility also offers summer ball hockey and community programming, but fall ice rentals are a priority for local sports organisations. Groups looking to secure their preferred time slots should submit their requests early, as demand typically outpaces availability.
To book ice time, visit the recreation rentals portal online or contact our facilities team directly. Commercial partnerships and business-sponsored leagues are also welcome. For information on how local businesses can sponsor teams or partner on community events, visit the Economic Development page.
Fall ice rentals at Eastfield Arenas include standard lighting, temperature control, and access to washrooms and concession areas. All bookings must comply with the City's Facilities guidelines and public liability insurance requirements. The City also offers discounted rates for non-profit youth organisations and school-based programmes.
"We are thrilled to open the Eastfield Arenas for another successful fall season," said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager, Community Services. "Accessible ice time strengthens our local sports culture and gives young athletes a safe place to train and compete year-round."
If you need help navigating the booking process or have questions about sponsorship opportunities through Economic Development, email [email protected] or call 519-555-0123. Regular registration for fall recreation programmes opens in the coming weeks. For a full schedule of community programmes and seasonal events, check the Programs page.
