The City of Wrenford has released the annual maintenance schedule for Centennial Gardens, located at 5 Victoria Street in downtown Wrenford. The schedule covers all work planned from April through October, including soil preparation, planting, lawn care, and infrastructure checks.
The maintenance schedule is managed by the Parks & Trails team in partnership with Roads & Winter Maintenance. Crews will be working in the garden space to clear winter debris, aerate the soil, and replace flower beds with seasonal colour. Regular mowing and irrigation checks will also take place.
"Our goal is to ensure Centennial Gardens remains a beautiful and safe space for residents and visitors throughout the year," says Maya Chen-Watson, Parks Planner. "We are also coordinating with By-law Enforcement to ensure that all activities in the park, including wedding photo permits and community events, follow our current guidelines."
Residents can view the full schedule online. The garden is a popular spot for wedding photos and community gatherings, and we ask that you respect the flower beds and follow Centennial Gardens guidelines. If you have concerns about maintenance work or park conditions, you can report them through Service Wrenford.
The City thanks residents for their patience during the work period. For more information about park maintenance, visit Parks & Trails.
