Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre winter programming now open

Winter programming at the Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre is now open for registration and drop-in attendance. Located at 1300 Ambrel Lake Road, the centre is welcoming residents back for a season of fitness, wellness, and social activities.

The facility features a gymnasium, program rooms, and an older adults' lounge. Explore all available spaces on our Facilities page to find the perfect environment for your fitness or wellness goals. Residents can join a wide range of classes, from aquafit and yoga to gentle fitness sessions and senior socials. The centre is also the home of the Senior Socials Drop-in Series, a monthly community gathering featuring games, light exercise, and refreshments at the older adults' lounge. Whether you are looking to stay active or simply enjoy some time with neighbours, the centre has a spot for you.

You can register for programs through the City's online activity guide, by phone at 519-555-0124, or in person at the centre's front desk. Drop-in classes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, though registration is recommended to secure your spot. If you need help accessing your account or navigating the registration system, the recreation staff at the centre is ready to assist you.

"Winter is a great time to focus on your health and connect with your neighbours," said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. "The Ambrel Lake Recreation Centre is designed to be a welcoming space where everyone can find a program that fits their needs, whether they are looking to stay active or simply enjoy some time in the older adults' lounge."
