The Old Mill Museum & Archives has released its winter exhibition schedule, featuring a series of local history and archival displays open to you throughout the season. Located at 12 Mill Street, the museum will showcase items from the city archives reading room, highlighting Wrenford's founding in 1834 and the early days of the grist mill that started it all.
You can explore restored tools, original blueprints, and photographs that trace the growth of your community from a small riverside settlement to a thriving city. The exhibits also include a special section on the Centennial Bridge and the development of the downtown grid. Staff will be on hand to answer your questions and help you navigate the collection.
"We are thrilled to share these stories with our community and invite everyone to step back in time," said Gwen Lachance, Heritage & Archives Coordinator. "The winter months are a perfect opportunity to explore the archives reading room and discover the everyday lives of the people who built Wrenford."
You can visit the museum Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free, and the facility is fully accessible. Families are welcome to bring children, and you can arrange group tours by calling 519-555-0133 or emailing [email protected]. Please note that the museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
