The City of Wrenford is pleased to announce that the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool at 15 Kingfisher Court will open for the 2024 season on May 25. Residents can look forward to a full schedule of swim lessons, splash pad play, and drop-in leisure swims as warmer weather arrives.
The pool and its splash pad are weather-dependent, so opening times may shift slightly based on daily conditions. Once open, the facility will host daily drop-in swims, family swim times, and adapted sessions for seniors and those with mobility needs. Families can also register for the Swim for Life programme and Learn to Skate classes leading into the warmer months, with registration dates posted on the Programs page.
"Our outdoor pools are a beloved community resource, offering safe and fun swimming opportunities for all ages this summer," said Fiona Gallagher, General Manager of Community Services. "We encourage residents to check the weekly schedule and plan their visits early in the season to avoid the biggest crowds."
For detailed hours, admission fees, and the full summer schedule, please visit the Kingfisher Outdoor Pool page. If you are looking for structured learning, the Swimming lessons page provides level placement details and registration steps. You can also find information about other seasonal aquatic activities on the Drop-in fitness and public swims page.
We look forward to seeing you at the pool this season. For updates on weather-related changes or extended hours, please check the Service Alerts page or follow the City's official social media channels.
