The City of Wrenford is hosting the annual Harvest on Mercer festival on Saturday, September 21, 2024, along Mercer Street downtown. This free, family-friendly event celebrates the autumn season and supports our local makers, merchants and performers.
Visitors will find live music stages, food trucks, craft booths and interactive activity stations for children. Local artisans will showcase handmade goods, and community groups will offer demonstrations throughout the day. The festival is a great way to explore the downtown core and enjoy the crisp fall weather.
“Harvest on Mercer brings our community together to enjoy the season and support our local makers and merchants,” said Mayor Danielle Okafor-Price. “We hope families and neighbours come out to celebrate downtown Wrenford and enjoy everything our city has to offer.”
Mercer Street will be closed to vehicles from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to keep all attendees safe. Please plan your trip ahead of time. You can park at the Downtown Transit Terminal or along nearby side streets and walk to the event. Consider using Wrenford Transit, biking or walking to avoid traffic delays. Follow all detour signs and pay close attention to parking regulations, including “No Parking” signs posted along the route.
Public washrooms and drinking water stations will be available near the festival grounds. If you need assistance with accessibility, please speak with a City volunteer or call 311 inside city limits, or 519-555-0100 from outside.
