The City of Wrenford Parks & Trails team will resurface the ice at Eastfield Twin Arenas daily from January 8 to January 31, 2024. The work will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. Public skating times will be adjusted to make sure the ice is in the best condition for everyone. We want to make sure your winter skating experience is safe and enjoyable.
If you plan to skate, check the public skating schedule before you head out. The facility is located at 620 Eastfield Road. You can call 519-555-0123 if you have questions about booking a pad or need to speak with a staff member. The two ice pads will be available for public skating outside of the resurfacing window. Please follow the posted times so you do not miss your session.
During the resurfacing window, the arena office will remain open for rentals and equipment sales. Staff will be on hand to help with skate sharpening and helmet checks. If you are booking a league or a group slot, please allow extra time for the ice to settle after the machine finishes. The crew works quickly, but the ice needs a few minutes to harden before play begins.
"We know the ice is a big part of winter in Wrenford, and we are working hard to keep our rinks in top shape for everyone," says Maya Chen-Watson, Parks Planner.
The City updates rink conditions daily. If severe weather changes the ice quality, the schedule may shift. Watch for service alerts on the City website or call 311 for the latest updates.
