Good to know

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays.

The new equipment includes a large, multi-level play structure, a wheelchair-accessible swing, and interactive sensory panels. The upgrade replaces older equipment that had become worn and unsafe. The project was designed with input from local families to make sure every child can play together.

"Playgrounds are more than just a place to run around," said Grace Whitlock, Councillor for Ward 4. "They are spots where kids learn to share, explore, and build confidence. By adding accessible features, we want to make sure every child in the south-east has a safe place to play."

The installation is part of the City's ongoing work to improve park spaces across all wards. The new play area sits near the existing picnic shelters and boardwalk, making it easy for families to enjoy a full day outdoors. Please supervise children at all times and follow the park rules posted on the site signs. Report any damage or maintenance issues through the City's service request line.
