Request cleanup supplies
Do you want to tidy up a local park, roadside, or green space in Wrenford? The City provides free volunteer kits to help you get started. These kits include heavy-duty bags, gloves, and litter-picking tongs.
Who can request a kit?
Any resident, group, or community association in Wrenford can request supplies. You do not need to be a registered community association, but you must be organizing a cleanup within City limits.
How to request supplies
To get your kit, please contact the City’s Neighbourhoods team. You can call the main line at 519-555-0100 or email [email protected]. Please tell us:
- Your name and contact information
- The neighbourhood where the cleanup will take place
- The date and time of the event
- The number of volunteers expected
We will confirm availability and arrange for you to pick up the supplies from City Hall or a local community centre. Kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Returning supplies
After your cleanup, please return the tongs and gloves to the same location. Bags are yours to keep. If you have leftover bags, you may return them, but it is not required. Returning equipment helps us maintain our stock for other residents.
Important notes
Do not use the provided bags for hazardous waste, construction debris, or large items like furniture. For those items, please check the City’s waste disposal schedule or contact Waste Services.
If your cleanup involves more than 20 volunteers or blocks off a street, you may need a permit. Most small-scale cleanups do not require one, but it is best to check. See our Block Party and Event Permits page for details.
