Facility rental payment plans
If you are booking a large venue and the total cost is significant, you do not have to pay the full amount upfront. The City of Wrenford offers payment plans to help you split the fee into smaller, manageable installments. This option is available for most community halls, arenas, and performing arts venues.
Eligibility and setup
You can apply for a payment plan when you submit your Facility rental application. To qualify, you must:
- Be a resident of Wrenford, or have a primary business address within city limits.
- Have a valid credit card or pre-authorized debit arrangement on file.
- Pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total rental fee to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is divided into equal monthly payments. The number of payments depends on how far in advance you book. For example, if you book six months ahead, you might make five monthly payments. If you book two months ahead, you may only have one or two installments.
Important dates and deadlines
All payments are due on the first day of each month. If a payment is missed, the City may cancel your booking without notice. You will also be responsible for any fees associated with rebooking or administrative processing. To avoid late fees, please ensure your payment method is updated and has sufficient funds. You can check your payment history and upcoming due dates by contacting the recreation department.
Insurance and fees
Even if you are on a payment plan, you must still provide proof of liability insurance before the event date. You can review the Facility rental insurance requirements to understand your coverage needs. The City does not cover insurance costs, and you must pay for your own policy or purchase a single-event policy through an approved provider.
Need help with costs?
If you are concerned about the total cost of the rental, please check if you qualify for financial support. The City offers Fee assistance for leisure centres for eligible residents and non-profit organizations. This assistance can reduce the base rental rate, making a payment plan even more affordable.
