Bring the whole family to the Orchard Park Outdoor Rink for a morning of free skating on Saturday, February 13, 2027. This drop-in event is open to skaters of all ages and skill levels, so you do not need to register in advance.
Arrive between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to join the fun. You can bring your own ice skates, or you can rent a pair at the rink entrance if you do not have them. We recommend wearing warm, layered clothing and non-slip boots for walking on and off the ice. The rink surface will be freshly flooded each morning, and floodlights will keep the area bright for late-afternoon skaters.
There is free parking in the lot adjacent to the rink, and the nearby washrooms are fully accessible. A small concession stand will be open inside the warming hut selling hot chocolate, coffee, and light snacks. This event is part of the broader Wrenford Ice Days celebrations in February, and it is a great way to get outside and enjoy the winter weather.
Please follow all posted safety signs on the ice. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If the weather turns severe or the ice conditions become unsafe, the City will close the rink and post a service alert on our website. For updates, you can dial 311 inside city limits or call 519-555-0100. We look forward to seeing you on the ice!
