Wrenford Ice Days 2027
Get ready to celebrate winter with the whole family at Wrenford Ice Days 2027. This free, all-ages event takes over Riverside Flats Park on Family Day weekend, February 13 to 15.
Join us every day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a full schedule of outdoor activities. Skaters can use the park’s temporary ice rinks, or try your hand at the family fun ski races on the adjacent fields. There will be a community bonfire, live performances from local musicians, and free hot chocolate for everyone who stops by.
Whether you are a seasoned skater or just looking for a sunny day outside, there is something for everyone. Bring your own skates, sleds, or snowshoes. Dress in warm layers, waterproof gloves, and sturdy winter boots. If you prefer to stay dry, visit the warming tents set up near the park entrance.
The park is fully accessible. Paved walkways connect the main parking area to the ice rinks and activity zones. Accessible washrooms are located inside the Riverside Flats Community Hall, just steps from the event space. Seating areas with benches and hay bales are scattered throughout the grounds for resting.
No registration is needed to enjoy the free activities. If you want to compete in the family ski races or join the ice sculpting contest, sign up at the info tent on-site or online through the Recreation & Culture portal. Spaces fill quickly, so early sign-up is recommended.
