Kick off the library's Winter Reading Challenge with us! This free event is designed for families with children who want to start the season off right. We will hand out reading logs, show you how to track your goals, and answer any questions about the prizes.
Bring your library cards if you have them. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. There is no cost to join the challenge or attend the kickoff session.
Space is limited, so registration is required. Sign up online through the Wrenford Public Library website or call the Main Branch at 519-555-0130. We ask that you register by November 15 so we can prepare enough reading logs and small gifts for every participant.
The Main Branch is fully accessible. There is an elevator to the reading room, wide doorways, and accessible washrooms nearby. If you need a seat cushion or have other accessibility needs, please mention them when you register.
The Winter Reading Challenge runs through the end of March. Participants of all ages can log their books and enter a draw for gift cards and books. It is a great way to keep reading habits strong during the colder months. We will also have a short craft activity and hot cocoa for everyone who attends the kickoff.
Check the Library page for the full list of reading challenges and program dates.
