Join a friendly group of knitters at the Main Branch library to make winter coats and scarves for community members in need.

Bring your needles and yarn to the Main Branch library for a morning of crafting and conversation. This knitting circle is a chance to work on your skills while making warm coats and scarves for local seniors who need them.

You should have some knitting experience to get the most out of the group. Bring your own supplies, including yarn in any colour you choose. We will provide templates and pattern sheets to get you started. If you have a project you are already working on, feel free to bring it along.

Registration is required so we can order enough materials for everyone. Sign up online or call the library at 519-555-0130. The event is free, but you must reserve a spot before November 3.

The library is fully accessible. There is an accessible entrance on Mercer Street, washrooms on site, and free parking nearby. The reading room has good lighting and comfortable chairs. If you need help with registration or have other accessibility needs, contact us at 519-555-0130 or email [email protected].

We hope to see you there for a cozy morning of making and sharing.
