Join us on December 9, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Wrenford City Hall for a free Winter Budget Planning Workshop. This session is designed for residents who want to understand how the city allocates funds and how you can help shape the 2027 budget.
We will walk through the main budget categories, from roads and winter maintenance to parks and community programs. You will learn how property tax and service charges cover these costs, and where the city looks for provincial and federal grants. Staff from Corporate Services will answer your questions and explain the timeline for public consultation.
Registration is required. Please register online or call 311 inside city limits to reserve your spot. Space is limited, so sign up early. Bring a notebook or your laptop if you want to take notes. A printed copy of the draft budget will be available at the door.
Wrenford City Hall is fully accessible. The main entrance is on Water Street, and washrooms are located inside. If you need accommodations to participate, let us know when you register.
