Take your little one to the Main Branch library for a morning of gentle stories, nursery rhymes, and hands-on sensory play. This session is built for toddlers and their caregivers who want to explore textures, sounds, and simple books in a calm, welcoming space.

What to expect:

  • Short read-alouds featuring board books and tactile pages
  • Singing and movement to classic children's tunes
  • Guided sensory bins with safe, washable materials like rice, fabric scraps, and soft blocks
  • Time to chat with other caregivers and make new friends

Space is limited, but no registration is needed. Just drop in during the session. We ask that you bring a small towel or washcloth for any hands-on activities, and please keep water bottles closed when they are not in use. All children must be supervised by a caregiver at all times.

The library provides all materials. If your toddler has specific sensory needs or allergies, let a staff member know when you arrive so we can adjust the activities to keep the experience comfortable for everyone. Restrooms and a changing table are located just outside the program room.

This event is run by the Wrenford Public Library Board, not the City. For more family programming, visit the Programs section or check the Library calendar.
