Take a quiet morning outdoors to capture the beauty of Wildrye Park. This free sketching session is open to adults and seniors who want to practice drawing and painting in a calm, natural setting. Bring your own sketchbook, pencils, markers, or watercolours. We will explore the grassy meadows and wildflower patches near the splash pad. An experienced local artist will be on hand to offer tips on shading, perspective, and capturing spring colours.
The area is flat and accessible, with benches available for resting. No registration is required—just show up and start drawing. If the weather is poor, we will move the session to the Wildrye Community Centre.
When: Saturday, April 10, 2027, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Where: Wildrye Splash Pad, Wildrye Park, 90 Wildrye Drive.
