Bring your little ones out to kick off the spring reading season. We are hosting a free storytime session for toddlers and their caregivers at Orchard Park Off-Leash Area on Saturday, April 25, 2027, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Get ready for interactive tales, nursery rhymes, and simple spring-themed activities. This event is designed to build early literacy skills and get families excited about the reading challenge. You do not need to register in advance. Just show up and enjoy the fresh air.

Orchard Park features a large open grass field, a parking lot, and waste bins. The off-leash area is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. during the seasonal period. Please bring a blanket or a low chair for seating, as there are no benches in this section. If your dog is off-leash, please keep them on a short leash during the story so other children feel safe.

For families who need accommodations, this is an outdoor event on flat ground. If you require specific accessibility support, contact the Recreation team at 519-555-0100 ahead of the event.

After the story, stay for a few minutes to meet other local parents and pick up a reading log for the challenge. We look forward to seeing you there.
