Join us at the Wrenford Public Library — Main Branch for a free Spring Garden Planning Workshop designed just for seniors. Whether you have a full backyard or just a sunny patio, this session will help you get ready for the growing season.
During the two-hour session, a local horticulture expert will walk you through the basics of spring garden planning. We will cover how to prepare your soil, pick plants that thrive in Southwestern Ontario, and set up containers or raised beds if space is tight. You will also learn how to create a watering schedule that fits your routine.
Please bring a notebook and pencil to take notes, along with any seed packets you are thinking about using. The workshop is completely free, but registration is required so we can reserve enough seating and materials for everyone. You can sign up by calling Wrenford 311 at 311 or 519-555-0100. Spots fill up quickly, so register early.
The Main Branch at 150 Mercer Street is fully wheelchair accessible. Accessible washrooms and comfortable seating will be available throughout the event. Free parking is located in the lot behind the building.
We look forward to helping you plan a successful garden this spring. If you have questions before the event, contact the library directly at 519-555-0130.
