Join us for a hands-on spring craft workshop where you will turn everyday items into beautiful planters. This event is open to all ages, so bring the whole family. We will show you simple ways to repurpose old containers, plastic tubs, or tin cans into pots for your favourite flowers or herbs. All materials and tools are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own favourite containers to decorate.
The workshop runs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2027, at the Wrenford Public Library — Ambrel Lake Branch. You will need to register in advance because space is limited. You can sign up online through our event calendar or call the branch at 519-555-0132. The fee is $5.00 per person. Payment can be made at the time of registration or on the day of the workshop.
The library is fully accessible. The entrance on Ambrel Lake Road has a ramp, and the event room is on the main floor. If you need an accessible seat or a large-print handout, please let us know when you register.
Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just curious about planting, this is a fun way to get ready for the spring season. You will leave with a finished planter and some ideas for keeping your home green all year. We hope to see you there!
